sweeter than sweet

Things! In point form because my tailbone is trying to kill me! (More on that later.)

  1. fell down the stairs. hit my left bicep pretty hard (hueg omg bruise) and have really screwed up my tailbone. To the point where I’m taking Mersyndol Day every six hours because otherwise I can’t function. It made public transport yesterday rather…interesting, shall we say.
  2. high distinctions on both exams at school so far. Not bad for a paranoid stressmonkey having a semi-permanent anxiety attack.

MAMA 2016! Some thoughts.

  1. My stream (or possibly my computer?) went crazy just as BTS began their stage so I saw all of maybe two minutes at a generous best of it. Fandom AND non-fandom alike howling about how lit it was. All of you shut up, goddamnit. *sigh* I’ll watch it after I study today.
  2. (Have seen some gifs, though. Holy hell. Hobi’s body moves like water. He’s astounding.)
  3. The aforementioned losers won their second daesang and I managed not to cry until I saw the tears on Rap Mon’s face, then I forewent all pretense of keeping it together completely when Suga lost it. Suga, for feck’s sake. (“I’ll cry when we win a daesang,” oh baby, you didn’t just cry. You were sobbing. Ilysm.)
  4. …I stayed up until quarter to two crying over a boy band. Life is brilliant.
  5. Still pissed that BTS lost to BlackPink for Best Video. I mean, what the fuck. How is the “Whistle” MV better than “Blood Sweat & Tears”‘? It was that video that turned me into an ARMY. I am honestly baffled, and really, really annoyed. (How is “Whistle” better than…any of the other nominees, to be frank?)
  6. Twice are so overrated it makes my head spin. And “Cheer Up” is an awful song. Puttin’ that out there.
  7. Apparently as an ARMY I have to say something about EXO. Okay: EXO’s stage was good. Bit out of sync at times, but really good all the same. (Thank god they didn’t perform “Lotto”. It’s not a bad song at all, but oh my god thanks to the radio, if I hear it one more time I might have a brain haemorrhage. In Korean or in Chinese.)
  8. Still, though. My boys. Daesang. I love them. I love them. I love them.

Best damn Friday I’ve had in a while, messed up tailbone not even withstanding.
